Last week we welcomed our LIDL ambassador Aisling Hanly to St. Clare’s to carry out LIDL’s #SeriousSupport Schools Programme. Aisling has an inspirational story to tell and it was fascinating to hear her story in person. She wears cochlear implants but has never backed down from any challenge she has faced on or off the pitch. She completed workshops with students who were chosen at random from our school panels. A very enjoyable day by all accounts, and the main message of the day was probably Aisling’s own message “There’s always a way around things”. Thanks to Aisling and Eilish for coming to our school.
