Our Leaving Cert Art students enjoyed seeing some of the highlights of the National Gallery on Merrion Square this morning including works by Caravaggio, Monet and Picasso.
From there, we continued to the Museum of Archaeology where our expert tour guide showed us the wonderful collection of Irish treasures from the Bronze and Iron age. Luckily the sun was shining in Dublin as we finished up with a walking tour around the city centre admiring the Georgian architecture of Dublin, taking in the Customs House and GPO among others. Thanks to Ms O’Gara for organsing the trip and accompanying the students.
