On Monday, the Transition Year Guidance students delivered presentations on study skills and shared infographics with the first, second, and third-year students. Study skills encompass the competencies and learning strategies essential for effective information processing and retention, including time management, note-taking, active reading, and memorization. The students shared valuable insights they found useful while preparing for their Junior Cycle examinations, such as the Pomodoro technique, learning strategies tailored to different learning styles, and the use of mind maps. Study skills tips and resources were provided to students during their Guidance classes and through online platforms.
