Culture Day Brings Global Traditions to Life

On Monday the 12th of May, our library was transformed into a colorful celebration of cultures from around the world as we marked this year’s Culture Day.

The event was a wonderful display of diversity, with students proudly representing a wide variety of countries, including South Africa, Ukraine, Portugal, Ireland, Latvia, the Philippines, France, Vietnam, India, Japan, and Poland. The library buzzed with excitement as visitors explored cultural exhibits featuring traditional clothing, delicious foods, music, and artwork that highlighted the unique customs of each country.

A huge thank you to the students who dedicated countless hours to create such engaging displays. Your enthusiasm and hard work truly brought each culture to life. We also want to express our appreciation to the parents who supported their children throughout the planning process—your involvement was key to making this event a success.

We’d also like to give special thanks to Ms. Cremins, Ms. Bolger, and Ms. Scheiffelen for their efforts in organizing the day. Without their careful planning and coordination, the event wouldn’t have been possible.

Culture Day was a reminder of the incredible diversity within our school and the value of learning from one another. We’re already looking forward to next year’s celebration and all the new cultures we’ll discover together.
