15 Student Council members attended the Comhairle na nÓg AGM at The Landmark Hotel in Carrick-On-Shannon on Tuesday, 11th November.
Workshops included discussions of topics such as Mental Health, Social Media & Body Image, Accommodation & Transportation and School Stress. Transport was voted as the key focus for Leitrim Comhairle na nÓg this year. Each young person won a prize with Owen Reynolds from 1st year winning First Prize – a €50 One4All voucher. An enjoyable day was had by all. Thanks to Ms O’Donnell who facilitates the student council in St Clare’s Comprehensive School, ensuring the student voice is heard.
