The  TRANSITIONS   workshop and exhibition project supports enriching levels of technical learning and creative practice for transition year students from schools and colleges in Co. Leitrim. Tactile, experimental and collaborative making across the open spaces and facilities of the Centre takes place during the fall each year with an exhibition of work made displayed early the following year.  Transitions,  as its name suggests, emphasises the creative development, mobility and evolution of ideas, materials and participants across a wide variety of mediums including printmaking, clay work, moldmaking, sculpting, 2d and 3d work and through a range of traditional and contemporary skills and techniques. The opportunity to work with a wide range of material processes is extended to include the design , arrangement and display of new work within a gallery environment, with the guidance of professional artists, curators and technicians.

This years’ participants include sixteen artists from St Clare’s Comprehensive School in Manorhamilton and Lough Allen College, Drumkeeran.
