Dee Armstrong and the panel of judges from the Samhain Parade Committee visited our school today to award the winning entries from the poster competition that they were running in all local schools to advertise the festival.
In joint first place were Faolán Feeley and Siún Keegan-Murphy, both Fifth Year students and the runner up was Ava-Rose Gregory-Fuery in 6th Year.
Both Siún’s and Faolán’s posters will be printed and on display around the community soon to advertise the upcoming Parade held annually in Manorhamilton, (Sunday 1st November).
Thanks to Ms OGara for facilitiating this event.
