Class 3A and Ms. Carden held a mock referendum on Friday 8th March. Both amendments were rejected. The ‘Family Amendment’ Yes – 43%, No 57%. The Care Amendment Yes – 35%, No – 65%. Councillor Mary Bohan visited the school during the mock referendum. Councillor Frank Dolan and Mary Harkin (T.D.) were unable to attend.
3rd Year Music Students travelled to the National Concert Hall in Dublin on Tuesday 5th March to hear the National Symphony Orchestra, conducted by David Brophy.
