LC History Trip

Last Wednesday a group of LC Art students travelled to Dublin where they enjoyed a guided tour of the National Museum of Ireland on Kildare St. to see the Irish collection of Bronze and Iron Age artefacts.  Afterwards, they moved to the National Gallery on Clare St. to view the paintings and artworks there. Notable highlights included the work by Jack Yeats, some Impressionists and Caravaggio’s ‘The taking of Christ’. Not even storm Agnes could dampen the spirits of this wonderful cohort of students. Thank you to Ms O’Gara for organising the trip and accompanying the students.
