Athletics School All Irelands

Sarah finished first in her event, walking the second fastest ever Junior Girls 1200M Race Walk to finish only 1 second outside of the Irish Record in the Junior Girls 1200M Race Walk. Sarah lead from start to finish opening up a big lead over the field. However, she was very unlucky to have picked up a time penalty which demoted her to 4th, just narrowly missing the medals.

Karen finished in 6th place, in her Inter Girls 2000K Race Walk. She was in contention for most of the race, only slipping back in the last lap.

Lucas came in  9 place in 1500 and 3rd in 3000m. Lucas competes in the Tailteann games on the 22nd too to try and get on the Irish team. We wish him the best of luck.
