Yesterday we had the absolute privilege to welcome Conor Nolan, a past pupil to St Clare’s Comprehensive School. Conor spoke to 5th and 6th year students about his own struggles with mental health and his life’s journey to date. Conor has published a book, at the young age of 21, “NORMAL” about his journey and past experiences.
His talk encouraged young people to be themselves, open up more and, most of all, to not be afraid to talk. Always be mindful of how you treat people because you never know what someone is going through but no matter what, you are not alone and there is always someone to help. His talk had something for everyone, even the teachers in the room.
We wish Conor every success in the future. Thanks to Ms Lynch for organising.
