Music Students from 1st Year, Tearmann and Rang Mhic Dhiarmada travelled to the Hawk’s Well Theatre in Sligo on Monday 14th October to hear the WhistleBlast Quartet.
The Quartet included Mary Curran (French Horn), Niamh Crowley (Violin), Kenneth Edge (Clarinet) and Conor Linehan (Piano).
They performed Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue, with the beautiful clarinet and piano solos, followed by a performance of Stravinsky’s Petrushka with a screened shadow puppet video by Púca Puppets.
