On Monday 10th February, Connor Feehily, a past pupil of St. Clare’s Comprehensive School, visited the 5th Year Link Modules classes and gave a presentation on enterprise and his personal journey to becoming a self-made entrepreneur since leaving school in June 2024.
Connor’s remarkable story from student to entrepreneur was outlined in his talk to the students. His success is highlighted by the AIBF award which he received in October 2024 naming him as the recipient of a Business All Star AIBF Rising Star Award for 2025.
Connor spoke at length about the challenges he faced in starting up his own business, the need for education and training in one’s area of expertise, the importance of personal determination and persistence, how he is developing and marketing his business and his plans for the future.
The students all agreed it was a very insightful presentation, made especially significant by the fact that it was given by a young man who was a student in the school a short eight months ago.
Connor’s story from student to entrepreneur is a shining example of vision and determination and one which inspired our 5th Year student group.
