Juvenile Boys GAA

The Juvenile lads had a fantastic win today on their travels to Mohill.

In wind assisted conditions our lads built up a healthy lead of  7 points by half time, with vital goals coming from Colm McLoughlin and Bruce O Hagan.

The second half was an extremely tight affair with our defence coming under immense pressure. Matthew Ferguson saved a penalty keeping a talented Mohill attack at bay. He was supported by strong defensive performances by all his teammates in front of him. Our players continued to frustrate their opponents, limiting their shots to long range. St.Clares ran out as deserved winners on a score line of 4-10 to 1-9.

The team qualify with a game to spare and look forward to playing Ballinamore next Thursday in their last group game.

Congratulations to all involved.
