Yesterday we honoured the Masita GAA All Ireland Post Primary School Dr Eamonn O’ Sullivan Cup Champions and Connaught Champions 2025.
It was a lovely event where Lauren Devaney (Head Girl) welcomed everyone, Ms Kelly congratulated the players and management teamof Mr Ward and Mr McBarron and Mr Ward spoke about the teams resilience, perseverance and drive for success. He stressed that this success did not come over night it was 2 years in the making.
Mrs Beirne and the music students performed a song “Come on St Clare’s” written by Mr Hughes and I’m sure is going around in all our heads since last Friday. The assembly was finished off by listening to the last few minutes of commentary from Saturdays final in Tuam Stadium and we were all brought back to those final moments.
This team has brought a smile to everyone’s face over the last few weeks and we have all enjoyed coming along on their journey.
The team are visiting local Primary Schools this week with the cups, where the younger generation will be delighted to meet their heroes.
