On Tuesday, April 1st, a group of TY students, along with their teacher, Ms Scheiffelen, visited the local Glens Centre for an exciting hands-on experience in podcast production. Guided by the centre‘s sound technician, the students had the opportunity to record their own podcasts in a professional studio. They also received invaluable feedback from Brendan Murray, director of the Glens Centre and host of Ocean FM‘s Arts North West Podcast.
As part of the experience, Transition Year students researched, scripted and presented their own podcast segments and interviews, bringing their ideas to life in a real recording environment for the first time.
