Today we had 12 students who represented the school in extremely hot conditions at Athlone University.
Two students qualified as individuals for the All-Ireland finals in their respective events:
Lucas Lyons – 1st in the 5000m
Sarah Mulvaney-kelly
– 1st 300m Hurdle
– 1st 300m
The senior boys finished in bronze position in the 4 x400m relay, while the senior girls finished 5th in a talented field in the 4 x100m relay.
Congratulations to all our athletes who were excellent ambassadors for our school today.
