Thursday the 15th of May 2025 was a celebration of the many achievements across our school community—and there is certainly a lot to celebrate. We are incredibly proud of our student body, who demonstrate a strong sense of belonging and pride in our school. This is reflected in their involvement in all areas of school life—whether through sport, music, drama, student council, enterprise initiatives, or countless other activities. They embrace opportunities, contribute meaningfully, and show us daily just how much they have to offer.
This past year has been particularly exceptional for St. Clare’s. Our Leaving Certificate Class of 2024 achieved outstanding results—an outcome of six years of dedication and effort. Three of those students attained top points, with several going on to receive prestigious scholarships: a JP McManus Scholarship, three UCD Entrance Scholarships, and a Trinity College Dublin Entrance Exhibition Award.
Our Junior Certificate students of 2024 also performed exceptionally well, with an increased number achieving Higher Merits and Distinctions across all subject areas.
Beyond the classroom, our students represented the school at national level in competitions such as the Student Enterprise Final, NFTE, All-Ireland Senior GAA Final, Certified Irish Angus National Finals, National Irish Young Journalist Awards and the Education for Sustainable Development Art Competition—further testament to the remarkable calibre of our students.
