The Leaving Certificate Art class went to Dublin on Wednesday 24th Sept.
After a shaky start with a train delay, we eventually made it to the capital, where the sun was shining.
Luckily the National Museum of archaeology in Kildare Street were very accommodating and rescheduled our tour where students got to see stunning artefacts from the Bronze and Iron Age.
In the afternoon, we enjoyed a guided tour around the National Gallery on Clare Street where Gabby our tour guide explained all about Caravaggio’s work.
Ms O Gara praised her LC students for their unfailing patience and good humour despite signal faults, delays and their missed lunch hour!!
