The students of St. Clare’s Comprehensive voted in the Mock Presidential Election yesterday. The votes have been counted and the results are as follows:
Turnout – 443. Spoiled votes – 72. Heather Humphreys was eliminated after the first count, having received 40 votes.
Jim Gavin received a total of 97 votes, including 11 transfers and
Catherine Connolly was the overall winner with 245 votes, including 22 transfers.
Well done to all of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd year C.S.P.E. students who helped Ms. Carden organise the election.
