Congratulations to our Senior Cycle Music students — Matthew Fitzpatrick, Reuben Rhodes, Caydn Maguire, James McFadden and Karl Venusa — who competed in the Cavan Institute Song Competition at the Town Hall Theatre, Cavan, last week. A total of 33 groups entered the competition, with just 12 selected to perform in the live final. Schools from Leitrim, Roscommon, Cavan, Monaghan and Westmeath were represented, and we were the only school from Leitrim to reach the final. This is an incredible achievement and a wonderful showcase of our students’ musical talent, creativity and hard work, as they composed and performed their own original song. Congratulations to all involved — we are immensely proud of you!
