St. Brigid’s Day

1C were busy on Tuesday, after the Saint Brigid’s Bank Holiday, making Saint Brigid’s crosses. Students spent some of their weekend collecting rushes and used Tuesday in religion class to make their crosses for members of our school community. Making St brigid’s crosses are used to symbolize protection, bringing luck, and keeping evil, fire, and hunger from Irish homes. Happy Imbolc.
