On Thursday last Transition Year students travelled to the Southern Hotel in Sligo to see Ger Carey Live. Part play, part stand-up, Ger Carey Live is a comedy show developed for transition year students. The 90 minute show takes an hilarious look at modern teenage life, but also smuggles in important messages relating to mental health, friendship and the importance of being able to laugh at yourself sometimes.
