5th year students attended the Northwest Career Fest at ATU Sligo. The event was organised by the Sligo-Longford branch of the Institute of Guidance Counsellors. There were 35 guest speakers from different sectors: Agriculture, Computing, Pharma, Business, Apprenticeships, Food and Hospitality, Sport, Defence, Rescue, Gardaí, Engineering, Construction and many more. Past pupil Nevin Maguire spoke to students about his career pathway. There were 17 college talks and 20 Higher Education Institutions and organisations, with representatives on hand to answer students’ career related questions. Thank you to Ms. Carden, Ms. Fahey and Ms. Sweeney who accompanied students.
