Lucas Lyons (5th year) representing North Leitrim Athletics Club took part in the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix in Boston last weekend.
Racing the Junior Boys International Mile he placed
4th in a blistering time of 4.06.48. Lucas races again this weekend in the United States and we wish him the very best of luck. Everyone in St Clare’s Comprehensive School are very proud of his achievement’s.
Caoimhe Murphy (1st year) also representing North Leitrim AC won not one but two gold medals at the Leitrim Indoors Athletics competition in Carrick on Shannon.
Both athletes will join the strong St Clare’s Comprehensive School athletics group who travel to Loughrea in Galway next week for the Connacht Cross Country Finals. We wish them all the best of luck.
