Last week our 1st and 2nd year students commenced the Mind Matters programme. Mind Matters is a 5-session emotional resilience programme that educates & supports young people to explore their thought processes, the impact of positive/negative self-thought, and how to implement critical thinking skills in assessing the information they receive. This programme uses practical steps and strategies through the 5-A-Day approach to emphasise building emotional resilience. It is an important part of the Junior Cycle Guidance programme.
