Students from Ms. Carden’s LCVP class visited Mirror Controls Limited recently, as part of their enterprise education programme. This visit-out enabled them to gain a valuable insight into the workings of a modern organisation.
This hands-on experience will form the basis of a detailed portfolio document, which students will complete as part of their LCVP coursework. The visit provided a meaningful opportunity to connect classroom learning with real-world application, enhancing students’ awareness of enterprise.
A sincere thank you is extended to Mairead Ferguson for delivering an extremely informative and engaging talk, and to all of the staff at MCI who warmly welcomed the group and facilitated such an enriching experience. We are extremely fortunate to have such a hugely successful enterprise on our doorstep, willing to give up their time to accommodate us. The students were delighted to stop for lunch at Eight Degrees West before heading back to school!
