St Clare’s win at County Leitrim Student Enterprise Awards

Transition Year students represented St Clare’s Comprehensive School at the Leitrim county final of the Student Enterprise Awards on Tuesday in the Bush Hotel. Carrick on Shannon. 25,000 students in schools across Ireland take part in the Student Enterprise programme annually.

Students get to set up their own business and do everything a real life entrepreneur would do….. from coming up with the business idea to marketing & writing a business plan.

Congratulations to all six groups who represented the school and a special mention to Aidan McMorrow and Cian OHagan with their business Drain IT winning most innovative business. Nora Smith won best design with her business Bear Necessities. Thank you to Ms Gallagher who mentors and facilitates the Mini Company programme in the school each year and to Ms Sweeney who helped supervise the students on the day.
