Well done to all athletes who competed at the Connaught Championships in Athlone last week.
Congratulations to Lucas Lyons Connaught Champion in the Inter boys 1500m. He goes forward in both the 1500m and 3000m to the All Irelands. He has worked increfibly hard this year in accomplishing the honor of being selected to compete in the Tailteann cup from which the Irish team will be selected.
Hard luck to Declan Howley who just missed out in the shot put on going to the All Irelands.

Congratulations to Sarah Mulvaney Kelly who is Connaught Champion and represents St Clares in the All Ireland finals in the Junior girls1.2 Walk.
Congratulations to Karen Mulvaney Kelly who came third in the Inter girls 2k walk and represents St Clares in Tullamore at the All Ireland finals in the 3kg Hammer.
