Catholic Schools Week Mass

On Wednesday, we had the privilege of attending Catholic Schools Week Mass for all the post-primary schools in the diocese of Kilmore. It was celebrated by Bishop Martin Hayes, Fr. Alwill and clergy members from our diocese. It was a very special day for us all and we are very proud of all our students. A special thank you to the parish of Knockninny for sponsoring the refreshments afterwards.

Pictured are the St Clare’s Comprehendive School 1B students who travelled to St Ninnidh’s Church, Derrylin to celebrate mass as part of Catholic Schools Week, with Bishop Hayes, their teachers Mr Martin and Fr Sexton and Principal Ms Kelly.

The theme of Catholic Schools Week this year is ‘Normal Lives, Called to Holiness’.
