Four of our students travelled to the University of Galway on Thursday, 5th March, where they attended an awards ceremony in the afternoon recognising their distinction in Higher Level Irish in the Junior Cycle examinations. This is a wonderful achievement and reflects the students’ hard work, dedication and enthusiasm for the Irish language. The ceremony provided a great opportunity to celebrate their success. The students were accompanied by their Irish teacher Mrs McDermott and Ms Bolger who were both delighted to share in this special occasion and to see the students’ efforts recognised.
