Thank you to Ms. Maguire and Ms.Coffey from all second year Home Economics students and Rang MhicDhiarmada for a very memorable trip to Butlers chocolate on Wednesday.

TYs visited Dublin Zoo on Wednesday as part of Science week. A great day had by all. Thanks to Ms Sweeney and Fr Sexton for accompanying the group.

Well done to the junior boys Gaelic squad who beat colaiste einde of Galway this morning. In the Connacht GAA centre on a score line of  4-12 to 2-5.

On Monday November 13th, we welcomed Geraldine O’Brien, ASTI President to our school. Geraldine, a native of Drumkeerin met with some staff and students. Here she is photographed with class 1D, along with their teacher and ASTI school steward, Mr Martin.

Congrats to Nora Smith, under the guidance of Mr Hughes, who has won 1st place in the Flash Fiction Category for 3rd and Ty with her entry The Fox, The Scientist and the Businessman.  This is a huge achievement. Well done. 

On Thursday there will be a lunchtime Club Gaeilge in the Library. There will be lots of fun activities and goodies. Bring your lunch agus fáilte roimh gach duine.

Disability advocate, Leesa Flynn, has become the first wheelchair user to receive a Master of Education degree from Maynooth University.
