Linda from TUD spoke to LCs on Monday. It was a live online presentation of very high quality. St. Clares has at least one student in each of TUDs faculties .
Well done to the senior girls Gaelic team who won their game on Tuesday at home to Ballinamore Community School on a scoreline of 2-7 to 1-3.
St Clares Open Night takes place tomorrow Wednesday 25th of October from 5pm-7:30pm.
Last year during NFSW Finian Joyce and Joe Mc Loughlin from the Leitrim Fire Service visited the school to talk to Transition Year students about Fire Safety. Thank you to Ms Cunningham for organising.
Brian Dolan from Leitrim LEO visited the school last week to complete an idea generation workshop with students as part of their enterprise module. Students are preparing for their Christmas Fair in December.
As EU code week comes to an end we reflect on coding activities completed by our students in St Clares. Students took part in both plugged and unplugged activities in class and at lunchtimes.
ATU Sligo spent an hour with us this week showing all the variety that it offers our students on their own door step. Thanks to Ms Lynch for organising.
Well don’t to the Senior Boys & Mr McBarron who beat Mohill cc yesterday St Clares 2-11 to 1-10. They now play Carrick CS in the Final.
Wiktoria from ATU Letterkeny spoke extensively about all the Donegal campus has to offer. 10% of our Leaving Certs 2023 went to Letterkenny .
