5C LCVP Delivering food donations to SVP from St. Clare’s Comprehensive School. Thanks to all parents and students who supported the annual food appeal and to Ms Lynch and Ms Sweeney for organising this very worthwhile cause. 

Leitrim Connacht colleges A team have beaten St Jarlaths of Tuam at the Connacht GAA centre  2-16 to 1–13  Well done to the St Clare’s Boys.

Wednesday Ms McDermott and Ms Bolger brought the TYs to Croke Park for a tour of the stadium and the GAA museum. They enjoyed some time shopping in Liffey Valley.

Congratulations to the Junior Gaelic football ladies who had a great win over Strokestown today with a score board of 2-19 to 4-8. Some excellent performances from Nessa Fox , Grace Devaney , Sophie Devaney , Lily Ferguson and Eve Caprini. Well done girls.

The students in 2C were delighted to welcome Marian Harkin T.D. to the school on Tuesday during the Mock General Election. Minister Harkin spoke to the students about her career in politics. Hard luck to the first year ladies football team who lost to Carrick in the Leitrim Schools County semi final in Glencar.

Our hurlers had a great day out to the Dome this week. They won three games against Coláiste Iascaigh, St.Coleman’s Claremorris and Roscommon CBS to top their group. Well done boys and thanks to Ms Bolger and Mr McBarron for accompanying the students. 

Seniors had a good win against Ballinamore to top their championship group 2-13 to 2-3. Jack Kelly captained the team on the day. Thanks to st Osnatts for the use of the facilities & to Vinny Mc Morrow for officiating.

Ms. Carden and the students in 2C have been busy transforming the Library into a polling station in advance of the Mock General Election tomorrow.
