1st Year C.S.P.E. students have been learning about the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Students in 1A designed fantastic posters to illustrate the various rights enshrined in the declaration.
A Mock General Election will take place on Tuesday 26th November. Transition Year students voted on Thursday, in advance of their two week work placement. Class 2C and Ms. Carden have been busy preparing the register, ballot papers and the polling station for the election.
On Thursday the 7th of November 5th and 6th year English students went to Eclipse Cinema in Bundoran to watch the film adaptation of Claire Keegan’s novel ‘Small Things Like These’ which is on the Leaving Certificate curriculum. Thank you to Ms. Nolan, Ms. Carden and Mr. Teyssou, who accompanied the students.
During Science Week 2024 our TY students hosted an event where they demonstrated interesting scientific principles using a mix of household materials and lab equipment. Our first year students enjoyed observing and partaking with the range of activities on display. Thanks to Mr Hewston for facilitating the event.
