Yesterday the fourth years had a memorable day trip to Belfast, enjoying some shopping followed by a fun ice-skating experience. Thanks to Ms Gaff and Ms Doherty for accompanying the students.

Fifth year Chemistry students attended a chemistry workshop in the school hosted by three postgraduate students studying at ATU Sligo. During the activity students accurately diluted solutions to construct a calibration graph to find an unknown concentration. The event was supported and funded by ATU Sligo, TCD and Science Foundation Ireland. Thanks to Mr Hewston for facilitating this event.
Hard luck to our Junior boys team today in a tough game. However, they have continuously made history this year. Today they were the first ever Leitrim school hurling team to play in a Connacht final at any age group. The whole school community is so proud of all they have achieved this year.
Our Junior Boys Hurling Team take on Ballyhaunis in the Connacht Final in Connolly Park, Collooney at 12:30 tomorrow, Tuesday. Best of luck to Ms Bolger and the boys.

Ms.Bolgers TY cookery class took part in the great St.Clares Christmas bake off today. We saw some amazing creations. We ended having a joint first place between conall and Bethany and Aoife and Ruby. 2nd place went to Tadhg, Summer-fey and Sadhbh. Thanks to our judges Ms.McGowan, Ms.McGann , James Hughes and Anna Sweeney.
Throughout November and December, the 1st, 2nd and 3rd year Guidance students engaged in fun ‘Career Awareness’ activities.
