Some of the 45 Leaving Certs who travelled to ATU Letterkenny on Thurs 6th Nov. All reported a great day. Gathered information on courses and facilities and were impressed with all that ATU Letterkenny had to offer.
Our Junior hurling team had a historic win over summerhill on a score line of 9-12 to 9 points. The boys will now move on to a Connacht semi final. Thanks to Ms Bolger for training the team.
Danny from the University of Galway paid a visit to LC students on Monday and gave an impressive presentation. He not only spoke about all the University of Galway offers but also spoke to students encouraging them to become students in any institutions. To experience higher and further education and all it can offer.
Our under 17 girls soccer team got their campaign off to a winning start beating Balla 6-3 in the Bee Park. Goals from Aoife Boylan, 2 from Saoirse Reynolds and a hatrick from Sarah Mullaney Kelly.
